Overview

Reporting to the Director, Digital Innovation, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the fuel efficiency and operational insights of our DRC operations through advanced data analysis, dashboarding, and team enablement initiatives.

Role Responsibilities

As a Senior Data and BI Analyst, you will be responsible for:

Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards using data from Databricks and RMS systems to monitor key metrics such as fuel consumption and grid stability.
Designing ETL pipelines in Databricks (Spark/Delta Lake) and writing performant SQL and Python scripts for data transformation and integration.
Partnering with field service teams to identify operational inefficiencies and creating dashboards to improve issue resolution times.
Enforcing data governance by ensuring data accuracy, lineage tracking, and documentation in collaboration with the Data Governance team.
Training and upskilling local engineering and operations teams on Power BI, SQL, and Python-based data analysis through workshops and coaching sessions.

Requirements for the Role

To succeed in the role, you will have:

At least 5 years of experience designing and deploying Power BI dashboards in production environments.
Hands-on experience integrating Power BI with Databricks and SQL-based systems (e.g., RMS telemetry).
Strong SQL and Python (Pandas or PySpark) skills for ETL and data cleansing.
Operational knowledge of telecom-site infrastructure and remote monitoring systems (RMS).
Experience coaching non-technical stakeholders in self-service BI tools and data storytelling.

Desired Skills

Stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
Project management and KPI reporting
Fluency in English; professional proficiency in French is strongly preferred
Exposure to emerging market operations, especially in the telecoms or infrastructure sectors
